The yarns commonly used for the production of fabrics are polypropylene, polyamide, polyester, PTFE, cotton.

Staple, multi-thread and monofilament yarns are available.

We are able to process any type of yarn and guarantee the high quality of our products thanks to the latest generation equipment and instruments.

Testori Group has been developing needling technology since the 1970s, producing special felts for a wide range of needs and markets.

We follow all the process phases (preparation, carding, lapping, in-line needling) with quality controls on the entire production line.

Our weaving mill hosts more than 50 latest generation looms which are controlled by an integrated computer system optimized for large-scale production.

The versatility of the machine fleet enables the realization of a wide range of fabrics in different widths to meet all the needs of the market.

With our weaving technologies we also produce the scrims used to reinforce the filter media in needled felt.

The internal departments dedicated to tailoring carry out the activities of mechanical cutting, laser, tubularization, welding, sewing and assembly to create each product customization according to  the defined design.

Our latest generation equipment allows us to produce high quality and precision products on a large scale and with maximum efficiency.

Testori also boasts a heat setting and surface finishing department, phases of fundamental importance to improve the properties of the needlefelt media and customize the product according to the desired application.

In heat setting, the fabric / felt is subjected to a heat treatment that guarantees the dimensional stability of the fibers in the operating temperature conditions.

Calendering combines the effects of pressure and temperature to give the correct permeability and to make the surface on the dust / mud side functional to the filtration process.

Our process control allows to continuously check the air permeability profile over the entire length of the roll produced.

Felts could also be required with surface treatments (smoothing and glazing) and chemical treatments to give water / oil repellency, resistance to sparks, greater filtering efficiency or antibacterial properties.
